5. Assessment

Prior to enrolling in a session, we will schedule an initial evaluation. The Assessment is a 30 - 45 minute initial evaluation of a new participant. It is an opportunity for Free Rein to confirm that we have the appropriate resources (instructor, volunteers, horse, and adaptations) to provide the participant with beneficial services. It also provides a baseline status of participant abilities and riding skills from which to measure progress.
