In-Class Volunteer Opportunities
We are so excited that you are interested in volunteering with us! Our biggest needs are volunteers for the classes; each class ranges from 1 to 10 volunteers depending on the number of riders in the class and their skill level.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. If 18 years or older must be able to pass a background check.
The first step to becoming an in-class volunteer is to sign up for one of our available trainings:
In-Class Volunteers opportunities:
- Horse Leader - leading the horse during classes
- Horse Wrangler - catching, grooming, tacking the horse
- Sidewalker - walking along side the rider during classes
- Instructor Assistant - arena setup/takedown and class support
Our sessions range form 8-12 weeks long. We ask that volunteers commit to a weekly shift for the majority of the session, if possible. If weekly commitments do not work for you, consider joining our sub list!
No experience needed, we will train you on all you need to know (and more)!

- Session 1: Feb 28 - Jun 3 (Break Apr 2-8, May 21-29), 12 weeks
- Session 2: Jul 10 - Sep 1, 8 weeks
- Session 3: Sep 12 - Dec 16, (Break Oct 15 - 21, Nov 19-25), 12 Weeks
